Philipp Brüggemann advises in copyright law, media law and industrial property law.
His practice is focused on designing, reviewing and negotiating industry-specific contracts in the creative and online sector as well as assisting with the judicial and extrajudicial protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. In the field of IT law he advises particularly in all e-commerce matters.
As a counsel he provides legal services to artists, start ups, advertising agencies and companies of the entertainment industry (especially music industry and online media services).
Philipp Brüggemann earned his law degree from Free University of Berlin and worked in the field of collective rights management for German media companies as a student employee. He completed his professional training as a law clerk in Berlin and Washington D.C..
From 2014 until 2015 he has been an associate lawyer with LICHTE Rechtsanwälte and he has joined the newly found firm SCHÄFER MAIER Rechtsanwälte in 2015.
He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
